The  Côte du Soleil Sunshine Coast French Festival

This festival aims to enrich the event tourism calendar of Caloundra and the Sunshine Coast by hosting an annual two-day event showcasing the fabulous culture, cuisine and lifestyles adopted by the French community around the world.

The festival will offer a blend of entertainment, education, dining experiences, master classes and shopping opportunities that typify the French style.

By infusing some of the flavours and passion of the French into our own coastal paradise, this festival is set to become a destination where locals and visitors alike may indulge their love of the French style in a fun and social setting.

A festival to embrace and celebrate a love of all things French whether it be the music, art, culture, food, wine or just simply their 'joie de vivre'

There will be lots to do over the weekend:

  • A full entertainment program on the main stage featuring musicians, dancers, historians, language educators, cultural displays and more.
  • A wine pavilion with experts on hand to offer tastings and information on wines from several of the main wine producing regions of France.
  • Masterclasses in Champagne, French Wines, Cheese and French Cuisine will be held throughout the weekend (bookings essential).
  • Enjoy the spectacle of a fashion parade showing off some of the latest fashions from Paris.
  • Of course there will be French style food being prepared fresh from a variety of vendors.
  • Our licensed bar will supply French wine, Champagne and French beer as well as some of your favourite local beverages.
  • Exhibitors will have French style fashion, footwear, accessories and home wares on display.
  • Join in the pétanque (boules) tournament to test your skill at this very French sport.
